Mad Marathon

The First Annual Mad Marathon and Mad Half are scheduled for July 10, 2011 in the gorgeous Mad River Valley.

Run through this extraordinary rural community on back roads with breathtaking views of the Green Mountains, rolling farmlands, quaint villages, historical barns, covered bridges and fields of our famous Vermont cows!

Friday, July 8

9:00AM to 4:00PM
Pick up your race packets, chips and race bags at our host Inn, the Waitsfield Inn. The Inn is located within steps of the Race Start and during your visit we will be able to offer other information to support your marathon.

10 AM – 4 PM
The Mad Marathon EXPO at the Waitsfield Inn.

A Mad Hatter marathon party is set for 6:00PM at the Sugarbush Resort Gate House. This launch to the marathon weekend will unite the athletes
and the community for a warm evening of notable inspirational speakers. This will be followed by extraordinary regional cuisine and a fabulous band.

Saturday, July 9

9 AM – 4 PM
Pick up your race packets, chips and race bags at our host Inn, the Waitsfield Inn.

10AM – 4PM
The Mad Marathon EXPO at the Waitsfield Inn.

5:30 PM – 9 PM
MAD CARBO — A variety of local restaurants, inns, B&Bs and pubs will host pasta/carbo dinners throughout the Mad River Valley on Saturday night.

Sunday, July 10 – Race Day!
