[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Bridges was honored to host the 2016 Vermont Girls High School State Championships over the weekend and we would like to congratulate all of the participants who competed in the tournament.
A special congratulations goes out to Kathy Joseph from Champlain Valley Union High School, the Girls High School Singles State Champion, and Kailey Yang and Sajani Sivakumar from South Burlington High School, winners of the doubles tournament.
Each year Tennis Resorts Online surveys thousands of tennis vacationers around the world to rank the Top 100 Tennis Resorts Worldwide. The results were released earlier this week and The Bridges was ranked among the Top 75 Tennis Resorts in the World, again!
As if that wasn’t enough, The Bridges ranked 5th for Best Overall Children’s Programs.
As we approach our busy summer season we would like to take this time to welcome back past guests and encourage new friends to visit and find out what all the rave is about! A special thanks goes out to all of our employees and valued guests who helped us achieve this honor, we couldn’t do it without you.
As Roger Cox, editor of TennisResortsOnline.com, wrote in his announcement:
“Anyone who’s ever been to a great tennis resort or camp can tell you that it is somehow more than the sum of its parts. Yes, the staff and the programs and the creature comforts matter, but beyond those elements that you can easily point to lies something intangible: an ineffable sense of “tennis atmosphere” that adds immeasurably to the allure. Almost from the moment you enter the pro shop or stroll around the courts you can feel an enthusiasm for the game and its players.”
That couldn’t be more true than at The Bridges and we owe it to our amazing guests and staff.
