On the savory end of ‘sweet and savory,’ the Mix Eatery at The Bridges is the perfect spot for a break between a morning on the courts and an afternoon at the pool. When she’s not found at the Mix Cupcakerie in downtown Waitsfield (the ‘sweet’ in her ‘sweet & savory’), owner and creative chef/baker Carole Kelaher shares her talents with traditional American cuisine and a dab of Asian Fusion. She’ll keep you cool by the pool with a refreshing choice of tropical drinks, including Mai Tais, Pina Coladas, Mojitos, Margaritas or Strawberry Daquiris. With choice craft beers, a few lighter, domestic choices and fine wines, the Mix Eatery is bound to leave you feeling relaxed and satisfied.
Originally from southern California, Carole spent sixteen years raising her three girls in the hustle and bustle of New York City before relocating to Warren, Vermont. Her love of catering has been evident throughout the Valley from her experience creating high quality ‘order to go’ meals at a local market to her passion for making sweets not just delicious but beautiful as well. The Bridges is excited to draw from her passion and pair up with Carole to cater to our guests, owners, members and anyone in between.
The Mix Eatery at The Bridges is open every day for lunch from 11am to 3pm, Friday and Saturday evenings from 5-8pm for dinner, and Sundays from 11am-2pm for brunch. Contact Carole through our front desk at 800-453-2922.
