Jim Halavonich

General Manager

Jim is responsible for the overall management and administration of The Bridges Resort. He enjoys spending time with his son Kadence, daughter Cecelia, and wife Susie in the outdoors. Jim is an avid cyclist, fly fisherman, hunter, and telemark skier.

Christopher Rusch

Controller/Human Resources

Chris’s primary function is to oversee the financial soundness of the Association and implement effective, fair and consistent staff policies. Chris enjoys cooking, golfing, traveling, the four seasons and the green mountains.

Laina Aylward

Homeowner Services/Administrative Assistant

Laina is the liaison between The Bridges Resort and the homeowners. She helps with any issues concerning their units like remodeling or updating, booking reservations for their units, and any other concerns they may have. Laina has two children and enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

Bob Lockett

Operations Director

Bob is responsible for facilities and maintenance at The Bridges. He manages the maintenance staff and he is available on call for emergencies concerning maintenance issues. Bob is also in charge of grounds keeping. While not at the resort, he enjoys coaching little league baseball and youth hockey, camping and hiking with his family and relaxing on his porch and playing some cards.

Josh Hanna

Tennis Director

As Tennis Director at The Bridges Josh manages all tennis programs and staff. A graduate of University of Vermont, he was #1 in singles for three years and American East All Conference for 2 years. Josh started working at The Bridges in the summer of 2000 and served as Assistant Coach at UVM in 2001 & 2002. Josh is an avid snowboarder and loves music. When not on the tennis courts, he can be found riding Sugarbush or attending concerts.

Jenn Macaulay

Director of Service & Sales

Jennifer works closely with tour group operators to book ski groups and family vacations. She also handles the long term summer and winter rentals, manages The Bridges front desk, and serves as the on site Bridges Real Estate agent. Jennifer grew up predominately in Vermont where she graduated from Norwich University in 2007, with a degree in Criminal Justice. Jennifer has worked at The Bridges since June 2004 when she was first hired as a front desk reservationist. When not at the Bridges Jennifer is a volunteer EMT in Waterbury, VT where she currently lives. She also enjoys traveling, hot summers, and being with her friends and family.

Carey Bennett

Recreation Center Director

Carey manages the operations of the Recreation Center. She lives in Fayston with her husband of 28 years, Scott, son, Ian, a junior at the University of Vermont (UVM), and daughter, Francesca, who will also be attending UVM in the fall. Carey enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, sewing, singing, playing piano. Her bucket list includes traveling abroad, learning Spanish, and spending lots of time on a beach!

Jenn Burnell

Housekeeping Supervisor

Jennifer Burnell manages the operations of the housekeeping department. She has been at The Bridges for 17 years. Jenn enjoys camping, traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, going 50mph across the water on her waverunner and, of course, playing Tennis. Jenn dabbles in snowboarding on fair weather days. The Bridges has become my home and my second family.

Jaime Deutl

Aquatics Director

Jaime manages all aquatics programs including private swim lessons, the swim team, and Red Cross courses. She also manages the life guard staff and teaches lessons herself. Jaime is 27 and has been teaching elementary school for 4 1/2 years. She enjoys swimming, camping, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves to travel — whether it’s right up the road to the lake, or half way around the world.
